A schoolbag has its requirements: transporting a schoolchild’s things all through the academic year, with the possible exception of holidays; being at once light yet resistant; while making each object easy to tidy away and then find again: a pencil-case, writing-slate or marbles. That’s right, anything goes.
Schoolbag No.2 is made of canvas. Its two adjustable shoulder straps and padded back mean that it can be carried on the back or, using its leather handle, by hand. Its accordion pleat, rivets and support bar increase its solidity. It can easily contain schoolbooks and exercise books. On taking a closer look, you can even find inside a crumpled note from the teacher and a crushed biscuit.
