Good bread merits protection. More specifically, a big round loaf (whole wheat, brown or white, with or without gluten, any way you like it) needs caring for, cuddling and a correct way of carrying it. Any bread lover knows this.
Our Bread Bag No. 88 was designed withthis in mind. It’s made of supple raw cotton and linen, and not coated, becausebread needs to breathe so it won’t go soft. It’s size (40 cm x 38 cm) andfastener – two riveted leather rings joined by a leather tie-string – let theenvelope adapt to fit any-sized loaf. But not only good bread needsprotection; there’s nothing stopping you from toting other treasures in it.
For its home collection, L/UNIFORM has chosen the plain woven canvas : this raw canvas receives no finishing coating which gives it a natural look; ideal for contact with foodstuff. We recommend to take the utmost care of it. Dry or cold cleaning and no spin dry.
